Operation
The mains power is fed directly into the POWERPLUS unit which in
turn would supply the critical load with a clean power source which
is essential for trouble free operation of all computer bases systems.
In the event of a mains power supply loss (black out) or reduction
in voltage (brown out) the critical load is continuously supplied
with the conditioned electricity subject to the autonomy of the
fuel tank.
The operation of POWERPLUS is fully automatic with the transfer
from mains to generator supplied power being achieved without interruption
to the critical load. When the mains supply returns, the generating
set shuts down automatically.
Ease
of maintenance
Built-in bypass circuits enable maintenance and testing of the
POWERPLUS unit without the need to shut down supplied equipment.
The PLC control system initiates test programmes for the UPS and
the generator. These test programmes provide a structured test
of the system which includes partial battery discharge to ensure
maximum battery life with generator start, stop and load function
checks. These tests are designed to ensure maximum reliability
of your computer power supply.
