 One
of FDL's more interesting projects (and certainly
its most scenic) has been to replace the standby diesel generator at the Torr Achilty hydro electric
scheme in Ross-shire, Scotland.
FDL supplied and installed a new 250kVA Generator complete with
synchronising equipment designed to ensure a seamless changeover between generator and mains power.
